ZINE KONTARI is designed to present the films that have been produced in the Basque language over the years, and to do this, it selects feature length and short films from different formats and genres every year.
With this initiative, we want to support and promote films made in Basque:stories created and told in Basque.
These are auteur films made entirely in the Basque language by Basque filmmakers of the calibre of Maialen Lujanbio, Gregorio Muro, Carlos Zabala, Fernando Bernués, Mireia Gabilondo, Nagore Aranburu, Jose Mª Goenaga, Jon Garaño, Aitor Arregi, Arantza Ibarra, Aitor Merino and Amaia Merino.
