Film Basque Country is the brand name representing the Film Commissions of the Basque Country. An specialized platform with the purpose of promoting the region (Araba, Bizkaia, Gipuzkoa) through the development of film, video, and multimedia production throughout the world. It was created to promote the Basque Country as a movie production destination, to help choosing locations, to provide all kind of services and a link between government and private companies. Its main role is to increase awareness of Basque filmmaking abroad and to support the positioning and release of Basque films on the international marketplace.
