Thanks to the Zinema Euskaraz program promoted by Zineuskadi, today, February 2, HARPETARRA (United Kingdom) will arrive at the Euskadi and Navarra cinemas in its Basque version. Nick Park, winner of four Oscars, (Best Animation for "Wallace & Gromit"), returns to theaters with the premiere of his latest film, "Harpetarra" in which a group of cavemen will play football to recover their land.

"Harpetarra" tells the story of a Stone Age man, Dug, who will fight with the Bronze civilization to protect his home. According to Park himself, "Dug is a brave and very naive guy who thinks he can change everything and lives with Hognob, a wild pig who is his pet and faithful companion." Both coexist in a primitive community that, one day nefarious, suffers the attack of an unknown civilization that invades its valley to keep the valuable bronze that is in its territory. Dug discovers that the Bronze civilization has a sacred game, soccer, and decides to bet with the evil Lord Nooth to recover his valley. Cavemen do not know what football is, so they turn to Val, a Bronze Age girl, who will teach and play with them in secret, since women can not play the "sacred sport".
